IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement)

- Why use an INDIVIDUAL VOLUNTARY ARRANGEMENT - IVA?
- The process
- Complete the application pack and return to us
- Your advisor will contact you to check your details
- You will then be contacted by one of our IVA practitioners to put together
a proposal for the creditors.
- An interim order will be granted to protect you from creditors during the application process (it normally take 2 months).
- The IVA proposal will be considered at a meeting with the creditors. It will be put to a vote to decide if it is to be accepted.
- Once the IVA is approved you are contractually obliged to maintain the agreed payment for 60 months after which you will be freed from the debt.

Bankruptcy versus IVA
Don't be fooled by false promises like having 95% of the debt written off; debts of under £15,000 or guaranteed acceptance.
Be wary if you are told this elsewhere because it just
isn't true!
